| Sewage treatment works for converter 6# of 150 tons of Benxi Iron and Steel Group. |

| The installations can treat production sewage of 800m3/h with suspended soild of SS≤6000～10000mg/L at inlet, the pH value at 7-12, backwater temperature at 50-65℃ in general. For the treatment process, according to the characteristics of the gas –washing water and property of particle-size distribution, the following advanced and reliable sedimentation method of two steps is used: for the 1st step, 2 coarse particle separators are used to remove the suspended solids with particle diameter bigger than 60 μm in the washing water; for step 2, 14 high efficient inclined-pipe gunbarrels are used mainly to remove suspended solids of more than 10μm in diameter in the washing water. In the past fast 2 year’s operation, the suspended solids in effluent-water are stable at SS ≤ 50~80mg/L. The moisture content of sludge to be discharged may be controlled at 75 to 80% according to requirement. The installations of this project mainly include 14 high efficient inclined-pipe gunbarrels, 2 new type of coarse particle separators, 2 pieces/sets of allocation wells, 3 concentrating sedimentation tanks, 2 sludge mixing tanks and so on. |
